exhibited in group shows including the Whitechapel Open, Assembly, Enough
or Too Much? and I Love Your Work and had a solo show in May 2002 at

of thin layers of oil paint to black and white photographs to create
a kind of backwards tromp l‚oeil. Olivia lives in South London
and her birthday is on the 21st of September. Lee Maelzer went to Central
St Martin‚s for her BA and did her MA at the RCA. She is going
to do the Abbey Fellowship in Rome from October to December this year.
The Virgo virgin is normally depicted as a lady holding wheat or foliage
of some kind. As a response to this, Lee has made paintings depicting
women or womanly men, in wheat.Lee lives in East London her birthday
is on the 7th of September.John Moseley studied Fine Art in Liverpool
before briefly taking up filmmaking in London, then dropped out of the
artworld almost completely for two years to write an internet startup.

quick shots such as the one he is showing here. John lives in North
London his birthday is on the 26th of August. Harry Pye has made a series
of paintings in collaboration with artists including Sean O‚Connor
and Rowland Smith. Harry began curating art shows 4 years ago and was
the brains behind; 'It May Be Rubbish But It‚s British Rubbish',
'Viva Pablo' and '100 Mothers'. His own artwork has appeared in many

Crawl and Record Collection and his writing has featured in many magazines

Gallery in Birmingham. He has work in private and public collections
most notably The Victoria & Albert Museum, London and The Museum
of Fine Art, Houston, Texas. Neil Reddy works directly with light. His

long exposure, making a photograph which a record of an event that only
the camera witnesses. Neil lives in Surburton his birthday is on the
5th of September.Billy Smart was a student at Royal Holloway University
and recently he successfully completed an M (Phil) in Playwriting. Billy
is the principal author of the first hyperdrama to have been performed
in the United Kingdom (eighteen months before Alan Ayckbourn‚s
House & Garden and performed in eight rooms simultaneously, rather
than two). He has also been involved in low budget filmmaking and has
compered and organised cabarets. His contribution to 'I'm Shy' is a
list of everything he‚s spent money on in 2004. Billy lives in
Moseley in Birmingham his birthday is on the 15th of September.Lucy
Soutter hates it when people misspell her surname. She also hates it
when people ask how she can be a long-term Londoner and still have an
American accent. Don‚t mess with Lucy: she has a BA (Harvard),
two MAs (CalArts, Yale), a PhD (Yale), and she did several years of
improv comedy theatre. When she is not lecturing at Buckinghamshire
Chilterns University College or The Royal College of Art, she can be
found making gorgeous oblique still life photographs, or embarrassingly
revealing self-portraits. Lucy lives between Camberwell and Brixton
with her dog, Claude. Her birthday is on the 25th of August. Jessica
Voorsanger was born in New York, New York she has had many solo shows
in America and the U.K. including 'Art Stars' at Anthony Wilkinson and
